About the Attorney
An active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and its D.C. A graduate of Columbia Law School with more than 10 years of legal experience, prior to opening her own firm, Rana served as an associate for several years with the law firm Covington & Burling LLP, where she practiced in the firm's litigation and international law practices. During that time, she was an active member of the American Bar Association's Section on International Law and Policy. Since devoting her legal practice exclusively to immigration law, Rana first practiced in a small boutique immigration firm before opening her own office. She is also a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, holds a master's degree in communication from American University, and has several years of media experience. Fluent in Arabic, Rana regularly represents and advises, among others, clients from the Middle East.
